Job Description

HR Recruiter

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with department heads to understand hiring needs, job specifications, and role requirements

  • Draft, post, and promote job descriptions on various channels (job portals, social media, website)

  • Source candidates through multiple channels: job boards, LinkedIn, professional networks, referrals

  • Screen resumes, conduct preliminary (phone / video) interviews, shortlisting candidates

  • Coordinate interviews with hiring teams, manage feedback, follow-up with candidates

  • Conduct reference checks, background verification, employment offer negotiations

  • Maintain candidate database / Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and manage recruitment metrics (e.g. time-to-fill, source effectiveness)

  • Provide regular reports to HR leadership on pipeline, progress, challenges

  • Support employer branding efforts: campus hiring, recruitment marketing, events, job fairs

  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, data protection, and internal HR policies

  • Assist in onboarding new hires: documentation, orientation, joining formalities
