An HR recruiter is responsible for finding, screening, and hiring candidates for job positions within an organization. Their job is crucial for building strong teams and ensuring the right talent fits into a company’s culture and job requirements. Here are some of the main responsibilities of an HR recruiter: 1. Job Posting & Sourcing CandidatesCreating Job Descriptions: Write clear and engaging job ads to attract the right talent. Sourcing: Use job boards, social media, LinkedIn, and even employee referrals to find candidates. Networking: Attend career fairs and networking events to build a candidate pool. 2. Screening & ShortlistingResume Review: Go through resumes to identify candidates who match the role’s requirements. Initial Screening: Conduct phone or video interviews to assess the candidate's qualifications, skills, and culture fit. 3. Interview CoordinationScheduling: Set up interviews between the candidates and hiring managers. Interviewing: Some recruiters are responsible for conducting interviews themselves, while others coordinate with hiring managers. 4. Evaluating CandidatesSkills Assessment: Help assess a candidate's technical skills or aptitude for the job through tests or exercises.
