Job Description

As an HR Administrator at Corning, your role is crucial in ensuring the administration of HR programs, processes, and policies that establish and reinforce Corning Values, maintain a positive work environment, and comply with all legal and regulatory requirements. Your efforts will contribute to moving the company and the world forward by driving successful implementation of change management strategies and HR initiatives. Your responsibilities include: - Administering change management strategies to support successful implementation - Implementing HR programs, processes, and policies in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements while aligning with Corning Values - Researching external market practices to identify opportunities for continuous improvement - Analyzing data on the performance and impact of HR programs and processes, highlighting areas for improvement, and creating reports and presentations - Developing subject matter experts through independent research and participation in professional groups - Recommending areas for standardization of HR programs and processes to reduce complexity and costs - Identifying trends and technologies to improve strategic objectives - Monitoring vendor performance and establishing strong vendor relationships - Educating colleagues and customer groups on proper use of HR systems and maintaining data integrity - Providing ad hoc support and gathering voice of the customer feedback on HR programs and processes Qualifications required for this role: - Associates degree in Human Resources, Business/Business Administration, or equivalent qualification/experience Desired qualifications include: - 1-3 years of combined HR/Admin experience or equivalent - Bachelor's degree in related area and/or HR certifications - Work experience in administrative and project roles - Computer proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and PeopleSoft - Successful track record in HR or Business process administration - Successful collaboration with external providers/vendors - Continuous process/product improvement experience - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple priorities, and maintain confidentiality - Basic proficiency in verbal and written English language skills Join Corning, a company that is constantly evolving to serve customers and industries better, and be a part of a team that is changing the world with innovative products and solutions.
