Job Description

The HR Intern role involves providing support to the Human Resources department in various administrative and HR-related tasks. This position is suitable for individuals who are keen on learning about HR functions, gaining practical experience, and contributing to a dynamic work environment. The ideal candidate should possess organizational skills, attention to detail, and a strong interest in building a career in human resources. Key Responsibilities: Administrative Support: - Assist in day-to-day HR operations, which includes maintaining employee records, filing, and data entry. - Prepare and update HR documents like employee handbooks, job descriptions, and policies. - Support the onboarding process by preparing orientation materials and coordinating orientation sessions. Recruitment Support: - Aid in the recruitment process by posting job openings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews. - Communicate with candidates, address inquiries, and coordinate interview schedules. - Participate in interview processes and offer feedback to the HR team. Employee Engagement: - Assist in organizing employee engagement activities, events, and initiatives. Training and Development: - Help organize training sessions and development programs for employees. - Maintain training records and monitor employee participation in various development activities. - Support the creation and distribution of training materials. HR Projects: - Collaborate with HR colleagues on various tasks and contribute to team goals. Compliance and Record-Keeping: - Assist in ensuring HR activities comply with labor laws and company policies. - Maintain accurate employee records, both physical and electronic. - Aid in the preparation of HR reports and data analysis as needed. Learning and Development: - Actively engage in learning opportunities within the HR department. - Seek understanding of various HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, compensation, and benefits. - Shadow HR professionals to learn from their experiences. Qualifications: - Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. - Strong interest in human resources and a willingness to learn. - Excellent organizational and time-management skills. - Strong written and verbal communication abilities. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). - Ability to handle confidential information with discretion. - Positive attitude, team-oriented, and open to taking on various tasks.
