Key Responsibilities
• Collaborate with business units to gather, document, and analyze requirements
for system changes and enhancements.
• Ability to set up pay rules and accruals.
• Understanding of US multi-state payroll methods, laws, including overtime,
breaks, and leave.
• Translate business needs into functional specifications and technical
requirements.
• Point of contact for all reporting, configuration and testing.
• Work closely with vendor to solve system issues, ensure delivery of solutions and
oversight of vendor system activity.
• Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and support training and change
management efforts.
• Develop and maintain documentation including process flows, use cases, and
user guides.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as needed.
• Ability to assemble and generate custom reports for multiple management end
users.
Qualifications
• Bachelors degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, or related
field.
• 3–5 years of experience in business systems analysis or a similar role.
• 3-5 years of payroll and timekeeping experience.
• Strong understanding of systems development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile
methodologies.
• Proficiency in tools such as SQL, Excel, Visio, and requirements management
platforms (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced
environment.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with HR systems, including Timekeeping Software.
• Familiarity with data integration, APIs, and cloud-based platforms.
