Job Description

• Assigning housekeeping tasks to staff and inspecting their work to meet cleanliness standards • Creating staff schedules and organizing replacements as needed • Training and orienting new housekeeping employees on cleaning methods and safety protocols • Managing inventory of cleaning supplies, ordering stock, and issuing equipment to staff • Handling customer complaints related to housekeeping and taking corrective actions • Conducting quality control checks and maintaining high standards of hygiene and tidiness • Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations • Preparing reports on housekeeping operations, staff performance, and supply usage • Participating in staff meetings to communicate policies and improvements • Performing cleaning duties during staff shortages • Monitoring and recommending repairs or replacements for furniture, equipment, and facilities Able to work in day/night shifts
