Job Title: Housekeeping Staff / Room Attendant

Department: Housekeeping
Reports To: Housekeeping Supervisor / Executive Housekeeper
Supervises: None

Job Summary:

The Housekeeping Staff or Room Attendant is responsible for ensuring guest rooms, bathrooms, and public areas are clean, tidy, and well-maintained according to hotel standards. Their work directly impacts guest satisfaction and the hotel's overall cleanliness and presentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and service guest rooms daily as per hotel standards.
• Make beds, change linens, and replace towels and amenities.
• Clean bathrooms, vacuum carpets, dust furniture, and empty trash bins.
• Restock supplies such as soap, shampoo, tissues, and minibar items.
• Handle guest requests for extra amenities or services promptly and politely.
• Report any damages, maintenance issues, or lost items to supervisors.
• Follow safety and sanitation procedures while using cleaning products and equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of housekeeping carts and storerooms.
• Participate in deep cleaning tasks and special housekeeping projects.
• Respect guest privacy and adhere to the “Do Not Disturb” policy.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not mandatory.
• Experience in housekeeping or cleaning services.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Good physical condition and stamina.
• Basic understanding of cleanliness standards and guest service.
• Honest, reliable, and detail-oriented.
• Ability to understand and follow instructions.
