Job Title: Housekeeper Job Location: [Location] Department: Housekeeping Reports To: Housekeeping Supervisor / Manager Job Summary:We are looking for a reliable and diligent Housekeeper to maintain cleanliness and organization throughout our facility. The ideal candidate will ensure that all rooms, hallways, bathrooms, and public areas are properly cleaned and sanitized. The Housekeeper will also maintain laundry and linen supplies and assist with special cleaning projects as needed. Key Responsibilities:Cleaning and Tidying: Clean and sanitize all areas of the building, including guest rooms, hallways, bathrooms, lobbies, and public spaces. Dust furniture, fixtures, and equipment, and clean windows, mirrors, and light fixtures. Vacuum carpets, rugs, and upholstery, and mop floors. Empty trash bins and replace trash liners. Laundry and Linen Management: Wash, fold, and distribute clean linens and towels. Ensure linen inventory is maintained and report any shortages. Bathroom Maintenance: Thoroughly clean and sanitize toilets, showers, sinks, and countertops. Replenish toiletries (toilet paper, soap, shampoo, etc.) and change towels as needed. Stocking and Restocking: Ensure cleaning supplies and equipment are stocked and well-maintained. Report any damaged or malfunctioning equipment to the supervisor. Guest Room Setup: Make beds and replace used linens with fresh ones. Organize and maintain the cleanliness of guest rooms, ensuring all items are in place. Special Cleaning Projects: Assist with deep cleaning tasks (e.g., carpet cleaning, window washing) as assigned. Participate in seasonal cleaning and preparation efforts. Safety & Compliance: Follow all health and safety guidelines when using cleaning products and equipment. Report maintenance or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
