Job Description

As a Housekeeping Executive, you play a pivotal role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of the hotel. Your leadership position involves overseeing housekeeping operations, ensuring that all areas meet the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene, and leading a team to deliver exceptional guest experiences. Key Responsibilities: - Team Leadership & Training: - Supervise and guide housekeeping staff, ensuring adherence to cleanliness standards and efficient work practices. - Conduct daily briefings and training sessions to enhance team performance and service quality. - Monitor staff attendance, performance, and grooming standards, providing feedback and coaching as necessary. - Operational Oversight: - Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure cleanliness and maintenance standards are met. - Coordinate with the Front Office and Maintenance departments to address guest requests and resolve issues promptly. - Manage room assignments, prioritize cleaning tasks, and update room status in the system. - Inventory & Supply Management: - Maintain par stock levels of linen, cleaning supplies, and guest amenities. - Prepare requisitions for supplies and ensure timely delivery. - Monitor and manage the use of cleaning materials to minimize waste and control costs. - Guest Interaction & Satisfaction: - Address and resolve guest complaints related to housekeeping services in a professional and timely manner. - Ensure that guest requests are attended to promptly and efficiently. - Maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene to reflect the hotel's image. - Health & Safety Compliance: - Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including the proper handling and storage of cleaning chemicals. - Conduct regular safety audits and implement corrective actions as needed. - Train staff on emergency procedures and ensure readiness for any incidents.
