Housekeeping Attendant cum Service Assistant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and well-presented Housekeeping Attendant cum Service Assistant to maintain a clean, hygienic, and welcoming environment in our multi-speciality dental clinic. The candidate will be responsible for daily housekeeping duties, ensuring infection control standards are upheld, and for serving refreshments to patients and staff courteously.

Key Responsibilities:

Clinic Hygiene & Maintenance

• Maintain overall cleanliness of all clinical and non-clinical areas including reception, consultation rooms, sterilization areas, washrooms, and waiting lounge.
• Follow proper disinfection and waste-segregation protocols in compliance with infection-control guidelines.
• Replenish supplies such as paper towels, handwash, disinfectants, and drinking water as required.
• Support dental assistants and staff in maintaining a clean and organized operatory between patients.
• Report any maintenance or repair issues promptly to the clinic manager.

Patient & Staff Service

• Greet patients politely and offer drinking water, tea, or coffee while they wait.
• Serve hot and cold beverages to patients and visitors as per clinic policy.
• Assist in serving refreshments or meals to doctors and clinic staff during working hours.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in pantry / service areas and ensure crockery and utensils are clean and ready for use.

General Support Duties

• Assist with receiving and storing deliveries and maintaining inventory of housekeeping and pantry supplies.
• Ensure cleanliness and proper presentation of clinic common areas throughout the day.
• Support during patient flow peaks (helping with sanitization, seating, or light errands as needed).
• Uphold confidentiality and a professional demeanor at all times within the clinic premises.

Requirements:

• Prior experience in housekeeping, hospitality, or healthcare setup preferred (clinic, hospital, hotel, or corporate office).
• Knowledge of basic hygiene, cleaning, and disinfection practices.
• Well-groomed, punctual, and courteous with good interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and maintain high standards of cleanliness and service.
• Basic communication skills in Hindi and/or English.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
