Housekeeping Assistant

Role Overview: As a Housekeeping Assistant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall presentation of assigned areas to uphold the organization's high standards. Your responsibilities will include cleaning and maintaining guest rooms, public areas, and facilities to ensure a pleasant environment for guests. Key Responsibilities: - Clean and sanitize guest rooms, corridors, stairways, restrooms, and office spaces. - Make beds, change linens, replenish amenities, dust, polish furniture, vacuum carpets, and remove trash. - Monitor and maintain cleaning materials and housekeeping supplies, ensuring well-maintained equipment. - Collect, wash, dry, fold, and store linens and towels, replacing them as needed. - Adhere to health and safety standards, report hazards, and follow company policies on hygiene and safety. - Provide excellent service to guests, respond to their requests or concerns professionally, and maintain their privacy. - Assist in general maintenance by reporting issues and performing tasks as directed. Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent preferred. - Previous housekeeping experience in a hotel or hospitality setting is advantageous. - Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail. - Strong organizational skills, ability to work independently and in a team, and excellent communication skills. - Physical stamina to lift and move heavy items, knowledge of cleaning chemicals, and safety practices are beneficial.,
