Housekeeping Assistant

Job Brief

We’re looking for a dedicated and hardworking Housekeeping Aide to join our team. As a Housekeeping Aide, you will play a vital role in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in our facilities, contributing to a positive and comfortable environment for our guests.

The ideal candidate should have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing excellent service.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning tasks in guest rooms, common areas, and other designated spaces
• Change bed linens and towels, make beds, and ensure rooms are well-stocked with amenities
• Vacuum, sweep, mop, and dust floors and surfaces
• Empty trash bins and dispose of waste in a sanitary manner
• Assist with deep cleaning tasks as needed, such as carpet shampooing and window washing
• Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or damaged items to the Housekeeping Supervisor
• Collaborate with other housekeeping staff to ensure efficient and thorough cleaning
• Adhere to health and safety standards, including proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment
• Assist with special cleaning projects and requests from guests or management
• Uphold a high standard of cleanliness and presentation in all areas

Requirements and Skills

• Previous experience in housekeeping or a related role is a plus
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and efficiently
• Good physical stamina and the ability to perform repetitive tasks
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques, materials, and equipment
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varied shifts
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Integrity and a customer-focused mindset

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹12,000.00 per month
