Housekeeper Supervisor

A hotel housekeeping supervisor oversees staff and maintains high cleanliness and order standards by scheduling employees, assigning daily tasks, inspecting rooms and public areas, managing cleaning supplies, and training new hires. They are also responsible for handling guest requests and complaints, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and coordinating with other hotel departments. Staff Management & Training

• Supervise and delegate:Assign cleaning tasks to housekeeping staff and monitor their performance.
• Create schedules:Develop work schedules for the team, ensuring adequate coverage for all shifts.
• Train staff:Train new employees on hotel policies, safety protocols, and effective cleaning techniques.
• Evaluate staff:Conduct performance evaluations to provide feedback and identify areas for improvement.

Maintaining Standards & Operations

• Inspect cleanliness:Regularly inspect guest rooms, public areas (like lobbies and restrooms), and other facilities to ensure they meet hotel standards.
• Manage inventory:Monitor and reorder cleaning supplies, linens, and other essential items to prevent shortages.
• Implement procedures:Ensure all staff follow established cleaning procedures and safety regulations to maintain a hygienic environment.
• Address maintenance:Communicate maintenance or repair needs in guest rooms or public areas to the appropriate departments.

Guest & Inter-departmental Relations

• Respond to guests:Handle guest requests, complaints, and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
• Coordinate with other departments:Liaise with other hotel departments (e.g., front desk, maintenance) to ensure guest services run smoothly.

Safety & Compliance

• Ensure safety regulations:Oversee adherence to all health and safety regulations within the housekeeping department.
• Promote hygiene:Emphasize the importance of hygiene, tidiness, and cleanliness to the team

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
