Housekeeper

Job Summary:
Portico Service Apartments is seeking dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Staff to ensure our apartments and common areas remain clean, comfortable, and welcoming for our guests. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.

Key Responsibilities:

Cleaning and Maintenance:

• Clean and sanitize guest apartments, including bedrooms, living areas, and kitchens.
• Ensure thorough cleaning and maintenance of toilets, showers, and washbasins.
• Dust, mop, vacuum, and sweep all rooms and common areas.
• Change bed linens, replace towels, and restock toiletries as needed.
• Empty trash bins and ensure proper disposal of waste.

Common Area Management:

• Clean and maintain lobbies, hallways, staircases, and other shared spaces.
• Ensure common areas are neat, well-organized, and free from clutter.

Guest Experience:

• Address guest requests for additional cleaning or supplies promptly and professionally.
• Report any maintenance issues (e.g., broken fixtures, leaks) to the supervisor.

Hygiene and Safety:

• Follow all housekeeping and sanitation procedures to maintain a hygienic environment.
• Adhere to safety guidelines when using cleaning equipment and chemicals.

Requirements:

• Prior housekeeping experience in hotels, service apartments, or a similar setting is preferred but not mandatory.
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and materials.
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
• Physical stamina to handle repetitive tasks and lift/move light furniture if required.
• Good time-management skills to complete tasks efficiently.

Pay: ₹11,000.00 per month
