Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Kochi as House Parents (Male and Female) at Cochin International School. The primary responsibilities include overseeing the physical and emotional well-being of students residing in the boarding facility. House Parents will ensure that students' needs are met by creating a nurturing, disciplined, and supportive environment. Daily tasks involve managing schedules, facilitating extracurricular activities, ensuring safety and security, and acting as dedicated mentors to the students. The role also involves clear communication with parents and cooperation with academic and administrative staff.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal, communication, and mentoring skills for effective interaction with students, parents, and staff.
• Proactive leadership abilities with the capability to manage daily schedules and oversee discipline and safety requirements.
• Empathy, patience, and a genuine interest in students' well-being and development, encouraging a positive boarding environment.
• Basic administrative, organizational, and multitasking skills to manage records, activities, and routine tasks effectively.
• Prior experience in a similar role or working with children in an educational or residential setting is preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in any discipline or relevant qualification related to education, social work, or counseling.
