Hotel Reservation Supervisor

As the Reservation Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the reservation department to ensure there are no backlogs on bookings. You will provide supervision, training, direction, and leadership to the Reservations Staff, including scheduling, performance management, and department planning. Collaboration with other departments is key to ensure seamless guest experiences and address any issues that may arise. Your role will involve developing and implementing strategies to maximize room occupancy and revenue through data analysis. It is essential to be fully knowledgeable about hotel guest rooms, rates, promotions, amenities, programs, hotel facilities, and services. Maintaining a positive and collaborative work environment is crucial, encouraging team members to share ideas and participate in continuous improvement initiatives. Handling guest complaints and special requests with professionalism and efficiency is a core aspect of this role, aiming to exceed guest expectations. You will act as the main resource for reservation agents needing assistance and prepare reports on reservation activities, providing insights and recommendations for enhancing operational efficiency and guest satisfaction. Liaising with various sales departments regarding occupancy and rates, reviewing room blocking for pre-purchase/exclusive deals and special group requests, and working closely with different Suppliers, Revenue Manager, Sales department, Front Office, and Reservation Department to facilitate customer bookings are also part of your responsibilities. You will determine work procedures, prepare work schedules, assign duties, and expedite workflow for reservation agents.
