Hotel Cleanliness Supervisor

Role Overview: As a Housekeeping Supervisor at JW Marriott Hotel New Delhi Aerocity, your main responsibility will be to inspect guest rooms, public areas, and pool to ensure quality standards are met after being cleaned by Housekeepers. You will run sold room reports, verify room status, identify discrepant rooms, prioritize room cleaning, and update departing guest room status. Additionally, you will assist Housekeeping management in daily activities and act as a liaison between Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Office, and Laundry departments. Your role will involve documenting and resolving issues with discrepant rooms and coordinating room assignments changes. You will also communicate effectively with the next shift and complete necessary paperwork. Key Responsibilities: - Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and pool to ensure quality standards are met - Run sold room reports, verify room status, identify discrepant rooms, and prioritize room cleaning - Assist Housekeeping management in daily activities and act as a liaison between departments - Document and resolve issues with discrepant rooms and coordinate room assignment changes - Communicate effectively with the next shift and complete required paperwork - Assist in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching employees - Follow company, safety, and security policies and procedures - Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional - Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards - Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others - Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards - Perform physical tasks such as moving, lifting, carrying, and placing objects - Use computers and/or point of sale systems for work-related information - Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors Qualifications Required: - Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent - Related Work Experience: At least 1 year of related work experience - Supervisory Experience: At least 1 year of supervisory experience - License or Certification: None Company Details: JW Marriott is part of Marriott International's luxury portfolio, comprising over 100 properties worldwide in gateway cities and distinctive resort locations.
