Hostess

Job Summary:We are seeking a well-presented, customer-focused Hostess cum Waitress to join our team. The role combines responsibilities of welcoming and seating guests, managing reservations, and ensuring smooth front-of-house operations, along with serving food and beverages to provide an excellent dining experience. Key Responsibilities:As a Hostess: Greet and welcome guests warmly upon arrival. Manage reservations and waiting lists efficiently. Escort guests to their tables and present menus. Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor at all times. Coordinate with the serving staff to ensure seamless guest service. Keep the reception/hostess desk clean and organized. As a Waitress: Present menus, take orders accurately, and upsell menu items. Serve food and beverages promptly and as per service standards. Ensure guest satisfaction by checking back during meals and addressing concerns. Clear and reset tables efficiently. Handle billing and payments as required. Follow hygiene, safety, and grooming standards at all times. Requirements:Previous experience as a hostess, waitress, or in customer service (hospitality preferred). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Well-groomed, professional appearance with a pleasant personality. Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Desired Qualities:Positive attitude and team spirit. Strong customer orientation. Problem-solving and conflict-handling ability. Basic knowledge of POS and reservation systems (preferred).
