Main Duties:

Administration

• To maintain and update the restaurant guest history records.
• To maintain a legible and up-to-date reservation book.
• To type and co-ordinate the printing of all restaurant menus in liaison with the outlet Manager.
  

Operational

• To deliver the brand promise and provide exceptional, friendly, courteous and professional guest service at all times.
• To be familiar with all food and beverage items on the outlet menu.
• To be flexible wherever possible in meeting special requests from guests for specific table assignments or other requests.
• To maintain the entrance area and hostess station in a clean and orderly manner at all times..
• To greet and seat guests in a professional and organized manner and offer the menu cards after seating.
• To work in a supportive and flexible manner with other employees and other departments.
• To treat all operating equipments and supplies carefully to minimize damage and reduce wastage.
• To take reservations and manage table assignments for the outlet.
• To follow all telephone usage guidelines while conversing with guests on the phone.
• To wish guests farewell as they leave the restaurant.
• To handle guest enquiries in a courteous and efficient manner and report guest complaints or problems to supervisors if no immediate solution can be found and assure follow up with guests.
