Job Description

Oversees the operations of student residential facilities, ensuring a safe, supportive and conducive living environment for students. Focuses on student welfare, rule enforcement and facility management.

Role & responsibilities

Supervise daily hostel activities, including student check-ins/outs, room allocations and maintenance coordination.
Ensure the university policies on conduct, safety and hygiene are followed.
Handle disciplinary issues and mediate conflicts.
Registers maintenance and record keeping
Organize events, orientations and emergency drills
Act as a primary contact during emergencies, liaising with security and other support services.
Provide pastoral care, counseling and support for students related to academics and personal well-being.
Ensure the proper maintenance of rooms and hostel facilities and verify furniture and fittings.
Liaise with university administration, maintenance teams and external services for smooth operations.
Prior work experience in any University or Medical college is preferred.

Qualifications and Skills

Any Graduate / Post Graduate
5+ years in student affairs or residential management preferred.
Strong interpersonal, leadership and crisis management skills
Flexibility and adaptability
