Hose Technician

Job Responsibilities

• Assemble, cut, crimp, and fit hydraulic and industrial hoses per specifications.
• Select hoses, fittings, and adapters based on application and pressure requirements.
• Tag, identify, and label hoses accurately.
• Inspect hoses and fittings to determine failure causes and recommend solutions.
• Conduct leak and pressure tests on hose assemblies.
• Perform on-site and workshop hose replacements safely.
• Clean and prepare fittings and threads for installation.
• Follow safety standards and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
• Record test results, job cards, and service reports accurately.
• Communicate with customers and support emergency call-outs as needed.

Requirements

• Certificate or Diploma in Mechanical, Hydraulic, or Industrial Maintenance (preferred).
• Proven experience in hydraulic or industrial hose assembly.
• Good understanding of hydraulic systems, fittings, and pressure ratings.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with attention to detail.
• Basic computer or ERP knowledge for job logging.
• Valid driver’s license (for mobile service roles).
