Job description Job Experience:- 3+ years minimum Job Location: Rajsamand, Rajasthan Position Overview: The Tissue Culture and MSC Specialist in Horticulture and Ayurvedic plays a critical role in overseeing the tissue culture process and managing the micropropagation of medicinal plants. This role requires deep expertise in horticulture, tissue culture techniques, and an understanding of Ayurvedic principles to ensure the successful cultivation and production of high-yield, high-quality plant material. Key Responsibilities: Plant Care & Maintenance : Monitor the health of plants, flowers, and trees; manage watering, fertilizing, pruning, and pest control. Landscape Design & Implementation : Assist in designing, planning, and implementing landscape and garden projects, ensuring both aesthetic appeal and ecological sustainability. Soil & Plant Health Analysis : Conduct soil tests and diagnose plant health issues, recommending and applying suitable treatments. Propagation & Cultivation : Grow and propagate plants from seeds or cuttings, manage greenhouse operations, and ensure optimal conditions for plant growth. Research & Development : Stay updated on best practices, plant varieties, and horticultural techniques; introduce innovative practices that support biodiversity and sustainability. Team Collaboration : Work closely with groundskeepers, landscapers, and other staff to coordinate horticultural efforts across the organization. Education & Training : Provide training for team members on plant care, seasonal maintenance, and environmental practices, ensuring a knowledgeable and efficient team. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Horticulture, Botany, Plant Science, or related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience in horticulture, landscaping, or a similar field. In-depth knowledge of plant care, soil science, pest control, and sustainable horticultural practices. Ability to use various gardening and landscaping tools and equipment. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Physical stamina to handle outdoor and physically demanding tasks. Excellent communication and team collaboration skills. Preferred Skills: Experience with landscape design software. Knowledge of native plant species and ecological landscaping. Certifications in horticulture or plant care.
