Horticulture Faculty – PPSC HDO (Horticulture Development Officer) Course

We are hiring an experienced Horticulture Faculty to teach and mentor students preparing for the PPSC Horticulture Development Officer (HDO) examination.
The faculty must have strong conceptual clarity in Fruit Science, Vegetable Science, Floriculture, Plant Protection, Soil Science, Nursery Management, Irrigation, Fertigation, Diseases & Pests, and complete knowledge of PPSC HDO syllabus & exam pattern.

You will be responsible for delivering high-quality classes, developing study material, creating test series, and guiding aspirants for written exam success.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Teach the entire HDO syllabus in a structured, exam-oriented manner.
• Prepare notes, PPTs, class assignments, practice questions & MCQs.
• Develop topic-wise and full-length tests for HDO.
• Conduct doubt-clearing sessions and provide personalized mentorship.
• Create online/offline course content, recorded lectures (if needed).
• Update students on latest exam trends, horticulture schemes, policies & acts.
• Contribute to building a high-scoring HDO Test Series.
• Maintain strong academic discipline and student engagement.

Required Qualifications

• M.Sc. in Horticulture / Agriculture / Floriculture / Fruit Science / Vegetable Science or related fields.
• Strong subject knowledge of Indian & Punjab Horticulture, ICAR basics, agronomy, plant physiology, and plant protection.
• Having appeared in PPSC HDO / Agricultural exams is a BIG plus.
• Teaching or coaching experience preferred.

Preferred Skills

• Ability to simplify concepts for competitive exam aspirants.
• Content creation skills (MCQs, notes, PYQs, explanatory videos).
• Excellent communication & presentation skills.
• Familiarity with PPSC HDO exam pattern.

Salary

• Competitive package based on experience.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
