Role Overview: As an IT Application Owner (ITAO) at Deutsche Bank in Pune, India, you will be part of a team collaborating closely with the existing team in Germany. Your role will involve working with business and operational units, development teams, and vendors to ensure structural stability of applications, compliance with technical/risk/policy processes, and managing the technical roadmap in line with Deutsche Bank's digitalization journey. You will play a key role in ensuring continuous delivery, process improvement, and internalization of technical expertise. Key Responsibilities: - Manage and maintain applications to ensure compliance with IT policies and procedures, including IT Management and Information Security policies. - Set up development, testing, and production environments. - Implement and upgrade system hardware and application software. - Lead discussions with business and vendors for new requirements, product implementation, customization, and enhancements. - Deliver application releases and defect fixes. - Assist and supervise junior team members. - Oversee enterprise IT governance, information security, knowledge management, business risk management, and more. Qualifications Required: - Minimum 8 years" experience in a similar role, with ITIL knowledge being a plus. - Basic experience in database, mid-range technical stack, and open-source skills. - Familiarity with tools like Jira, HP ALM, Confluence, ServiceNow, and Software Development Lifecycle. - Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage unexpected events efficiently. - Pro-active team player with excellent communication skills. - Experience with Agile/SCRUM teams, German language skills a plus. - Knowledge of GCP or other Cloud technologies is beneficial. - Certifications such as COBIT, ITIL, PMP, CRISC, CSSLP, CISSP are preferred.
