Home Care Nurse

Are you a passionate and caring Home Care Nurse in Chennai looking to make a real difference in people’s lives? We’re seeking a Registered Nurse / Staff Nurse to join our dedicated home healthcare team. You’ll provide professional nursing care at patients’ homes, ensuring comfort, recovery, and continuous health monitoring with compassion and clinical excellence. Key Responsibilities Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in their home environment as per the prescribed care plan. Monitor and record vital signs, patient conditions, and progress, reporting to the Nursing Supervisor or Physician. Administer medications, IV therapy, injections, and other medical treatments safely and efficiently. Perform wound care, catheterization, tracheostomy care, and post-operative nursing procedures as required. Educate patients and families on disease management, medication adherence, and lifestyle improvements. Maintain accurate patient documentation, nursing reports, and care logs. Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams (Doctors, Physiotherapists, Dietitians, etc.) to ensure holistic patient care. Provide first aid and emergency support during critical situations. Adhere to infection control, hygiene, and patient safety standards at all times. Offer emotional support to patients and their families to promote recovery and comfort. Qualifications & Requirements B.Sc in Nursing (GNM or B.Sc Nursing) from a recognized institution. Registered Nurse License with a valid Nursing Council registration (TNMC preferred). 1–3 years of experience as a Staff Nurse or Home Care Nurse (experience in home healthcare / hospital setup preferred). Strong clinical assessment and communication skills. Compassionate, patient-focused, and able to work independently with minimal supervision. Willingness to travel across Chennai for home visits and work in flexible shifts.
