Job Description

Position Title:

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Home-Based Chef to prepare daily meals.
The chef will be responsible for creating personalized diet-based menus, ensuring nutritional balance, maintaining high hygiene standards, and coordinating with the supporting kitchen staff.
The role requires professionalism, confidentiality, and strong communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, prepare, and serve daily meals as per the diet requirements and health guidelines.
Design weekly diet menus focusing on nutrition, taste, and variety.
Coordinate with supporting staff for food preparation, cleaning, and kitchen operations.
Maintain high levels of hygiene, sanitation, and kitchen organization.
Ensure timely preparation and serving of meals.
Manage grocery lists, inventory, and purchasing in coordination with support staff.
Prepare diet-specific meals (low-fat, low-sugar, high-protein, or medically guided diets).
Handle special requests, sudden changes, or travel meal preparations.
Maintain complete confidentiality and discretion at all times.
Communicate effectively with the Principal and household staff regarding meal plans and requirements.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Culinary Arts or Hotel Management background (preferred).
Should have experience as a Personal Chef / Home Chef / Diet Chef.
Strong knowledge of vegetarian, Indian, continental, and diet cuisines.
Ability to prepare balanced and customized meals.
Good communication skills
to understand preferences and coordinate with support staff.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
High standards of hygiene and food safety.
Trustworthy, disciplined, and respectful of privacy and confidentiality.
