As the Head of Department in Digital Marketing, your role involves leading the department with strategic vision, academic integrity, and administrative efficiency. You will be responsible for designing and delivering engaging lectures, workshops, and practical sessions for undergraduate and postgraduate students. Your key responsibilities include: - Developing and updating curriculum aligned with the latest industry trends and digital technologies. - Mentoring and supporting faculty in achieving academic and research goals. - Guiding students on academic and career growth, research projects, and industry exposure. - Fostering partnerships with industry leaders for guest lectures, internships, live projects, and placements. - Encouraging and participating in high-quality research, publications, and knowledge sharing. - Contributing to the development of interdisciplinary programs and promoting a culture of innovation. To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and experience: - Ph.D. in Digital Marketing, Marketing, or a closely related field (preferred); Masters degree required. - 10+ years of academic and/or industry experience, including leadership roles. - Proven expertise in digital marketing strategy, analytics, content marketing, SEO/SEM, social media, and emerging tools/tech. - Strong record of research, publications, and academic contributions. - Exceptional communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills. - Ability to lead a team, manage academic operations, and collaborate across departments. - A passion for teaching, mentoring, and driving student success. - Commitment to fostering an inclusive and diverse learning environment.
