Job Description

Vastly Experienced Professional with well-rounded knowledge and exposure to International Shipping & Logistics, Supply Chain/ Bulk Chemical Tank Storage, Letter Of Credit. Solutions-driven, customer centric with significant experience in handling all aspects of Logistics functions EXIM freight negotiations, CFS/ ICD operations / Liquid Tank Farm operations & related cost optimisation & Commercial Negotiations. Implementing strategies to optimize costs associated with Logistics Operations CFS, ICD, Shipping line, Container Train Operators, and Transportation both International as well as domestic. Experience of deft, smooth handling of huge volume of containers on monthly basis, appx 500 600 cntrs/ month into various sea ports / ICD locations in India, and appx 50 100 cntrs of exports from Indian ports to various countries, including cross country trade. Excellent Knowledge regarding Letter of Credit (LCs) and other financial instruments used in International Trade. Sound Knowledge on Inco Terms and UCP guidelines. Pretty good understanding of other payment instruments, banking processes in Intl Trade. Building and maintaining healthy business relations with International Vendors, customers both domestic & international, thereby ensuring maximum satisfaction. Sound knowledge & understanding of Indian customs rule and regulations. Excellent understanding of India and World Geography. Hands on knowledge of Hazardous cargo operations (though not a certified Haz operator). Certifications: Certification in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field is an added advantage. Experience: At least 10 years of experience in operations management, preferably in an international trading company. Proven track record of success in managing complex operations and leading high-performing teams. Leadership roles in Import & Export, Supply Chain, Logistics & Operations, Customer Service.
