The History Panel at National Development Volunteers (NDV) is undertaking a multi-volume programme to re-edit, annotate, and publish historical/scriptural works and curated compilations. We seek candidates who can work with textual precision, discern source quality, and handle doctrinal material with care and sobriety.
Eligibility (India-focused):
Working knowledge of Hindi and English; Sanskrit (reading proficiency) is a plus. Exposure to Persian or Prakrit is welcome but optional.
Eligibility (Experience-led):
Work Mode: Remote-first; India hours. Occasional review meets (online; in-person as scheduled)
Credit: Named acknowledgment in the volume; chapter-level bylines where applicable.
Compensation shall be in the form of contribution-based royalties on published outputs. No separate honoraria will be paid. Royalty-sharing terms will be communicated to shortlisted candidates.
