Hiring Talent Acquisition Specialist

• Recruitment strategy:

  Partner with hiring managers to understand departmental needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.

• Sourcing:

  Source and attract candidates using various channels, including applicant tracking systems (ATS), job boards, social media, and professional networks.

• Screening and interviewing:

  Conduct initial screening calls and interviews to assess candidate qualifications, experience, and cultural fit.

• Candidate management:

  Maintain an organized candidate pipeline and ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the entire recruitment process.

• Offer negotiation:

  Extend and negotiate job offers, including salary and benefits, with selected candidates.

• Reporting:

  Track and analyze recruitment metrics (e.g., time-to-hire, source of hire) to improve hiring efficiency.
• Maintain all records in ATS (Zing HR)

Background verification

• Process management:

  Oversee the end-to-end background verification (BGV) process for all branches on roll candidates who have received a conditional offer of employment.

• Candidate consent:

  Ensure all legal and regulatory requirements are met by obtaining the necessary written consent from candidates before initiating background checks.

• Third-party vendor management:

  Act as the primary point of contact with external BGV vendors, initiating requests and monitoring progress.

• Document collection:

  Guide new hires through the process of submitting required documentation for verification, such as educational certificates, previous employment details.

• Result review and escalation:

  Scrutinize all incoming BGV reports for potential discrepancies. Assess the severity of any findings and escalate adverse results to management for review and resolution.

• Record-keeping:

  Maintain accurate and confidential records of all BGV activities and reports.
