Job Summary

The Pod Lead for Mapping Operations will support the Team Lead by overseeing a small group tasked with creating and maintaining accurate map data. This role involves daily supervision, quality control, and task allocation within their pod. The ideal candidate should possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to foster a cooperative team environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and guide a pod of mapping associates to ensure project goals are met.
• Distribute tasks effectively, ensuring deadlines are achieved while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Conduct regular check-ins with pod members to monitor progress, address issues, and align on objectives.
• Review and ensure the accuracy and consistency of the map data produced by the pod.
• Assist the Team Lead in managing daily operations and workflow optimization within the pod.
• Identify and troubleshoot operational bottlenecks, proposing and implementing practical solutions.
• Maintain clear communication with the Team Lead regarding pod performance, challenges, and support needs.
• Encourage teamwork and collaboration within the pod to achieve common goals.

Qualifications

Education

• Bachelors degree preferably in Geography, Geospatial Science, Operations, or a related field.

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in mapping operations, geospatial data processing, or related domain.
• At least 1 years of experience in Pod lead role.

Skills

• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret geospatial data.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Problem-solving skills with a focus on operational efficiency and quality improvement.
