Position: Instrumentation Engineer

Job Location: Tarapur, Maharashtra

Experience: 5+ yrs

Qualification: B.E/ B.Tech

1. To plan & supervise the execution of routine & non-routine (Project, modification, shutdown & breakdown) instrumentation works to improve the operational efficiency & availability of instrumentation setup.

2. Prepare, maintain & update the list of instruments & systems.

3. Prepare, plan & analyze the maintenance & project activities - Ensure the timely execution of maintenance (preventive maintenance, shutdown)/project plans as per schedules, update the production team & superiors on deviations

4. Plan & organize resources for the execution of the job.

5. Monitor & ensure the availability and effective performance of installed instruments & systems.

6. Responsible & accountable for maintaining safety standards.

7. Manage the availability of material, spares, and maintenance costs.

8. Fulfil statutory & regulatory requirements and maintain the records

9. Verify & initiate actions for the quality of and maintenance costs.

10. Fulfil statutory & regulatory requirements and maintain the records

11. Verify & initiate actions for the quality of contract work, new instrument inspections, etc., escalate observed gaps/deviations to the superiors

12. Review daily log sheets, analyze the collected data, prioritize & allocate work to technicians, and supervisors with recommendations.

13. Organize, and conduct training to upgrade the required skills of team members.

14. Participate & contribute in RCA (Root cause analysis), conceptual studies, risk analysis, etc.

15. Review P&IDs, hookups, float inquiry for modification jobs, small projects

16. Coordinate with "detailing engineer" to fulfil new projects

17. Detailed knowledge of logic designing and troubleshooting of DCS/PLC.
