Basic ability to work with audience and media datasets (BARB, ComScore, TGI).
Strong Excel skills for accurate reporting, data handling, and dashboard updates.
Ability to interpret viewing/audience trends and extract simple insights.
Good PowerPoint skills to create clear, compelling insight decks for sales teams.
Experience using multiple research sources to respond to briefs.
Clear communication skills to summarise data for non-technical stakeholders.
Basic understanding of TV, media planning metrics (reach, CPT, impacts).
High attention to detail and ability to deliver recurring reports on time.
Strong skills in one or more programming languages (SQL / Python / R) for data manipulation, modelling, automation and large-scale analytics.
Experience with advanced statistical and data-science techniques (regression, significance testing, predictive modelling, optimisation).
Hands-on experience with cloud data environments, ideally Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery, Cloud Storage, associated tooling).
Ability to analyse large, complex datasets (viewing, campaign, operational, inventory, revenue) and derive actionable insights.
Full end-to-end analytics capability: problem definition data sourcing modelling insight generation commercial recommendations.
Strong data visualisation skills, with proficiency in tools such as Tableau or Power BI to create clear, compelling outputs.
Experience with media measurement frameworks (TV audience data, cross-platform exposure, campaign effectiveness).
Ability to design, improve and maintain analytical solutions, pipelines and measurement frameworks.
Excellent communication skills to translate complex analysis into simple, commercially impactful narratives for senior stakeholders.
High numerical accuracy and attention to detail when working with audience numbers, ratings estimates and performance trends.
Ability to produce audience forecasts using historical viewing data, programme information and broader market/competitor insight.
Ability to interpret audience trends, assess changes in viewing patterns, and apply these learnings to forward-looking estimates.
Good knowledge of programme genres, formats, scheduling logic, seasonality and media consumption habits.
Strong Excel proficiency and confidence working with structured datasets.
Clear communication skills to explain audience outcomes in simple commercial language.
Strong organisational skills to manage recurring forecasting cycles and deliver outputs on time.
Desirable (not mandatory): familiarity with TV or Digital audience measurement datasets, basic analytical/statistical techniques, and hands-on experience with programming languages such as Python or SQL.
