We seek an experienced Senior Structural Designer specializing in 3D modelling and detailed design of structural systems for industrial applications (oil & gas, petrochemical, Etc). The ideal candidate will have advanced proficiency in S3D, and Tekla (Added Advantage), with a strong focus on fabrication-ready deliverables and compliance with international standards. Role and Responsibilities

Design & Engineering:

• 3D modelling of structural systems (steel frames, platforms, pipe supports, foundations) using S3D.

• Develop fabrication drawings, Erection Drawings, construction schematics, weld details, and GA/BOM deliverables per AISC, Eurocodes, and API standards.

• Optimize designs for onshore systems, ensuring constructability and cost-efficiency.

Technical Execution:

• Execute clash detection, model coordination, and design integration within multi-disciplinary projects.

• Ensure compliance with EPC workflows, plant design lifecycles, and client specifications.

• Resolve on-site non-conformities and material/welding issues during fabrication/construction.

Software & Deliverables:

• Expert-level proficiency in S3D.

• Generate accurate 2D/3D deliverables, including structural layouts, connection details, and assembly drawings.

• Collaborate with engineers to translate FEA/analysis results (STAAD Pro, SAP2000) into practical designs.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• BE/BTech/MTech in Civil/Structural Engineering or related field.

• 5 to 10 years of experience in structural design for oil & gas, petrochemical, or heavy industrial projects.

• Proven track record in EPC projects, FEED studies, or plant commissioning.

Preferred Skills

• Expertise in Onshore projects.
• Familiarity with dynamic/seismic design principles and fabrication workflows.
• Ability to mentor junior designers and conduct drawing reviews for compliance.
• Strong communication skills for client/stakeholder coordination.
