Hiring For Credit Collections & Cash Applications

Key Responsibilities

• Collections:

  Contact customers (at least monthly) to secure timely payment of outstanding invoices using our AR system (Crest).

• Reconciliation & Reporting:

  Regularly reconcile customer accounts to reduce aged debt and achieve a low DSO (Days Sales Outstanding). Prepare the monthly Aged Trial Balance and quarterly debtor reports.

• Query Resolution:

  Promptly respond to customer invoice inquiries and liaise daily with internal staff to resolve client issues successfully.

• Credit & Risk:

  Perform daily credit checks , identify "problem" clients , and advise management on potential bad debts.

• Compliance:

  Adhere strictly to all credit procedures and policies and maintain your individual Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

What We're Looking For

• Experience:

  Proven background in Accounts Receivable or Credit Control.

• Skills:

  Strong communication and negotiation skills are essential for high-volume customer contact.

• Technical Familiarity:

  Experience using various AR/ERP systems (e.g., MPBill, Great Plains, Crest) and utilizing client VMS/upload portals is a plus.

• Goal Orientation:

  A proactive approach focused on reducing bad debts and improving processes.
