About the Role

As a Vendor-Facing In-Stock Lead at Flipkart, you will be responsible for ensuring that the right products are available at the right time and in the right quantities across our supply chain network. This role is critical to maintaining high in-stock rates, minimizing lost sales, and enhancing the overall customer experience.

You will serve as the primary point of contact for vendor partners within your assigned category and work closely with internal teams such as Category Management, Supply Planning, Fulfillment, and Finance. Your day-to-day work will involve demand analysis, purchase order execution, inventory tracking, and performance reviews with vendors to drive timely replenishments and supply chain efficiency.

This is a highly cross-functional and execution-driven role that requires strong analytical ability, operational rigor, and stakeholder management skills. You will be expected to proactively identify supply gaps, streamline processes, and contribute to strategic decisions that shape the inventory and availability strategy of your category.

As a Vendor-Facing In-Stock Lead, you will be part of a dynamic team responsible for maintaining healthy inventory levels across key categories, ensuring product availability during both BAU and  events . Our team thrives on data-driven problem solving, speed, and cross-functional collaboration.

We work closely with internal teams such as Category Management, Planning, Fulfillment, and Finance, while also engaging daily with our external vendor base to drive supply performance. We operate in a high-impact, high-visibility environment where quick thinking, accountability, and execution excellence are key.

Preferred candidate profile

Technical Skills Required:

* Advanced Excel

* PowerPoint

* Basic understanding of SQL querying(Not Mandatory)

* Knowledge of Python or R (Not Mandatory)

Soft Skills:

* Ability to read and write comprehensible English

* Team player with a collaborative approach

* Strong sense of ownership and accountability

* Stakeholder Management

* Email drafting

Experience:

* 5-10+ years of experience in supply chain planning, q-commerce, or replenishment

* Proven ability to create comprehensive reports and dashboards using Excel

* Preferably, 5-10+ years of experience in MIS roles

* Experience in analyzing data and performing root cause analysis

* Understanding of e-commerce metrics

What You'll Bring (The Skills):

* Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., advanced formulas, data modeling, pivot tables, data validation).

* High proficiency in the entire Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and PowerPoint.

* Demonstrated ability to be a self-starter who consistently takes initiative and requires minimal supervision.

* Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy and integrity.

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to interact confidently with all levels of the organization.
