Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Business Growth & Sales:

  • Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities in the Cyber Security domain covering consulting, implementation, and managed security services.
  • Develop a robust pipeline aligned with practice revenue goals and growth targets.
  • Prepare and deliver impactful client proposals, capability presentations, and responses to

RFPs/RFIs.

  • Own the sales cycle end-to-end, from lead generation to contract closure.

Client Engagement:

  • Build and nurture strategic relationships with CXOs, CISOs, CROs, and IT/Security leadership across enterprises.
  • Understand client needs, challenges, and compliance requirements to position IonIdeas

Cyber offerings effectively.

  • Collaborate with delivery and technical teams for seamless engagement execution and client satisfaction.

Strategic Initiatives:

  • Work closely with the Practice Head to define and execute Go-To-Market (GTM) and partnership strategies.
  • Identify and build alliances with OEMs, cloud providers, and technology partners in the security ecosystem.
  • Track market trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies to refine IonIdea's value proposition.

Performance & Reporting:

  • Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets.
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts, client intelligence, and progress reports for management review.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 612 years of experience in Business Development, Sales, or Account Management within Cyber Security or IT Services.
  • Proven track record in Security Solutions or Services Selling with a or reputed companies.
  • Deep understanding of Cyber Security domains such as GRC, SOC, Cloud Security, Threat

Management, Risk Assessment, and Compliance.

  • Strong existing network of CXO-level connects across BFSI, Manufacturing, and Enterprise sectors.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Highly motivated self-starter, capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, start-up-like environment while collaborating within a global organization
