High School Social Teacher

We are looking for high school social teacher for our CBSE school in Ameerpet, Hyderabad.

Classroom management:

The Social Studies Teacher is responsible for educating students in history, geography, civics, economics, and other related subjects. The teacher promotes critical thinking, cultural awareness, and civic responsibility, helping students understand society and the world around them.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in social studies subjects such as history, civics, geography, and economics.

Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the school’s curriculum and educational standards.

Encourage active student participation through discussions, debates, projects, and group activities.

Assess and evaluate students’ academic progress through assignments, tests, and examinations.

Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports diverse learning styles.

Integrate technology and multimedia resources to enhance classroom instruction.

Provide academic support and guidance to students individually or in small groups.

Communicate regularly with parents, guardians, and school administrators regarding student progress and behavior.

Participate in faculty meetings, school events, and professional development programs.

Uphold school policies and promote respect, discipline, and civic values among students.

Qualifications:

Qualification : BA/B.Com/MA/M.Com and B.Ed

Prior teaching experience in a high school setting preferred.

Strong knowledge of social science concepts and current global issues.

Excellent communication, classroom management, and organizational skills.

Passion for teaching and shaping young minds.
