In this role of Head of India Operations at a fast-growing global management consulting firm, you will be tasked with leading the strategic transformation of the India office into a critical consulting delivery hub. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with global delivery leaders, enhancing delivery outcomes, recruiting and retaining top consulting talent, supporting cross-border alignment, and building trust with global stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the strategic transformation of the India office as Country Head. - Collaborate with global delivery leaders to embed an integrated global delivery framework. - Enhance delivery outcomes including utilization, client satisfaction, and capability development. - Recruit and retain top consulting talent while building a strong local market reputation. - Support cross-border alignment with operational and consulting leadership worldwide. - Build trust and visibility with global stakeholders to position the India team as an essential part of the firm's global consulting model. Candidate Profile: Experience & Background: - Strong consulting pedigree, ideally with experience in global delivery and business transformation. - Proven leadership experience in scaling delivery teams in India and aligning with global practices. - Demonstrated success in building high-performing, consulting-focused teams. - Business-oriented profile (not tech-only), with strategic delivery experience. Education & Market Fit: - Preference for graduates from top Indian institutions (IIT, IIM, IISc, DU, BHU, UoH). - Strong familiarity with the Indian market and talent ecosystem; local experience strongly preferred. - Global experience (particularly US-based or US-facing) is a significant plus.
