Health Inspector

Job Responsibilities

• To conduct regular inspections along with Medical professional to various communities and families to evaluate compliance with health and safety regulations
• To examine cleanliness, sanitation practices, food handling procedures, waste management, and overall environmental health factors
• To identify any deviations and deficiencies, or risks and help to resolve them under guidance.
• To provide guidance and support to individuals, and community to meet health and safety requirements.
• To educate the public on health promotion, disease prevention, and proper hygiene practices.
• To identify the source of diseases for any outbreaks and public health emergencies. To implement control measures, and provide guidance to prevent further spread by collaborating with HOD and MBBS/PGs teams.
• To communicate effectively including government agencies, healthcare providers, community organizations, and general public.
• To implement health programs, policies, and initiatives that improves community health outcomes.
• To conduct periodical Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) workshops, training sessions, and awareness campaigns to raise awareness and improve community health.
• To maintain accurate records and prepare reports to communicate inspected reports and observations, trends, and recommendations to relevant authorities and stakeholders

Job Specifications

Qualification: Diploma in Sanitary Inspector (DSI), Health Inspector (DHI), or Health & Sanitary Inspector (DHSI) - form Recognized University

• Knowledge about community health, sanitation practices
• Health Programs to improve overall health of the Community
• Ability to identify the source of disease outbreaks and medical emergencies in a community
• Interpersonal skills and Effective Communication skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From ₹18,000.00 per month
