Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Quality Control (QC):

  • Develop, implement, and monitor quality assurance policies and procedures for machine manufacturing.

  • Conduct inspections, testing, and audits at various stages of production to ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications.

  • Analyze quality data, identify root causes of defects, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, reduce defects, and minimize rework.

  • Ensure compliance with industry standards (ISO, ASME, etc.) and regulatory requirements.

  • Manage QC team, provide training, and foster a quality-driven culture.

Aftermarket Service (AC):

  • Oversee aftersales service operations, including installation support, troubleshooting, and maintenance.

  • Manage warranty claims, spare parts inventory, and logistics for replacement parts.

  • Develop and implement customer service policies to improve response times and satisfaction.

  • Coordinate with manufacturing and supply chain teams to ensure timely availability of spare parts.

  • Gather customer feedback, analyze service data, and implement improvement initiatives.

  • Train and support service engineers and technicians in troubleshooting and repairs.

General Responsibilities:

  • Liaise between production, quality, and customer support teams to ensure seamless operations.

  • Prepare and present quality and aftersales reports, KPIs, and improvement plans to senior management.

  • Stay updated on industry standards and technological advancements to improve quality and aftersales processes.

Preferred candidate profile

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelors or masters degree in mechanical engineering, Quality Management, or related field.

  • 8+ years of experience in quality control and aftersales service in machinery manufacturing.

  • Strong knowledge of quality standards (ISO, ASME, CE, etc.) and inspection/testing methods.

  • Experience with aftersales service, spare parts management, and customer support.

  • Leadership skills with experience managing cross-functional teams.

  • Proficiency in quality management systems (QMS), ERP, and MS Office.

  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
