Head Plant Operations

Role & responsibilities

Chemical Storage Tanks, Water Tanks, Underground Tanks, STP/ETP Systems, Cooling Towers, Process Vessels, Ducts, Blowers, and Scrubbers

Key Responsibilities

Operational Leadership

• Oversee complete plant operations including

  Production, Fabrication, Assembly, Testing, Dispatch & Maintenance

  .
• Ensure efficient manufacturing of

  FRP/GRP/PP/HDPE/Composite

  chemical equipment as per design and engineering specifications.
• Develop and implement

  production plans, capacity planning, resource utilization, and process control

  .

Quality & Compliance

• Ensure adherence to

  ASME, ASTM, ISO, BIS, Pollution Control

  and relevant chemical equipment manufacturing standards.
• Control quality through stage inspection, testing, and documentation including

  hydro testing, leak testing, thickness/lamination checks

  .
• Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for quality improvements.

Engineering & Technical Coordination

• Coordinate with

  Design/Engineering teams

  for drawings, BOM, material specs, and manufacturing feasibility.
• Review and approve fabrication procedures including

  mould making, filament winding, lamination, welding & finishing

  .
• Support development of new product lines and process innovation.

Safety, Health & Environment

• Implement

  EHS practices

  , hazard identification & risk mitigation in handling chemicals, resins, solvents, and industrial equipment.
• Ensure compliance with

  fire safety, factory act regulations, waste disposal, and pollution control norms

  .

People & Team Management

• Lead, mentor and evaluate workforce including managers, supervisors, operators, welders, laminators, quality inspectors, etc.
• Ensure workforce

  skill development, training and performance management

  .

Supply Chain & Cost Control

• Monitor inventory, purchase planning, vendor management for

  resins, fibers, HDPE sheets, PP raw materials, blowers, motors, pumps, fasteners, coatings, etc.

• Optimize plant operations to improve

  productivity, OEE, and reduce manufacturing cost & scrap/wastage

  .

Customer & Project Coordination

• Collaborate with sales/project teams for

  technical discussions, factory acceptance tests (FAT), project timelines

  and customer visits.
• Support aftersales & warranty claims resolution.
