Job Description

As the Head of Operations, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing daily operations across various key areas such as Residences and Housing, Food and Beverage, Campus Operations, Housekeeping, Facilities, and Technical Support Services. Your role demands strategic leadership from a hospitality services background to effectively manage diverse teams, ensure operational excellence, and deliver high-quality services. You will be instrumental in driving efficiency, maintaining high standards, and implementing best practices to achieve organizational goals. **Key Responsibilities:** - Identify, develop, and execute operational business plans while monitoring key metrics and assisting in decision-making in collaboration with other enabling functions. - Plan, direct, and supervise administrative procedures and systems for key functions including Campus Operations, Food and Beverage, Student Residences, and Event Management. - Lead a team of professionals and third-party service providers to establish global benchmarks and promote a culture of Service Excellence. - Develop, track, and manage all aspects of departmental budget, cost optimization, and expenses, ensuring compliance and audits. - Ensure smooth information flow within the University to facilitate operations. - Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, fostering strong relationships with vendors, contractors, and service providers. - Fulfill any additional responsibilities assigned by the Vice Chancellor. **Key Skills:** - Set a tone of people-oriented, collaborative leadership focused on data-based decision-making. - Establish a management culture based on teamwork, open communication, prudent risk-taking, innovation, mentoring, and accountability. - Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, along with professionalism in dealing with diverse individuals. - Possess a solution-oriented approach with effective problem-solving skills. - Have experience in operations management and knowledge of relevant legal laws and regulations. **Qualifications:** - Proven track record as an administrator at a senior level in reputed organizations. - MBA from a premier institute preferred. - Minimum of 20 years of experience required.,
