Head of Software Development

You will be joining apexanalytix as the Head of Software Development, where you will play a crucial role in setting the strategic technology direction for the organization. Reporting to the COO, you will lead multiple product development teams responsible for both new and existing customer-facing software and SaaS products. Your expertise in the Microsoft stack for development and other product landscapes will enable you to address customer needs effectively. In this role, you will be responsible for leading a diverse team of over 65 staff members, including Software Engineering, Technical Product Management, Quality Assurance, Project Management, and Documentation. Your experience in managing a mixed environment of on-premise and Cloud-based products will be highly valuable in this position. Your key responsibilities will include strategic planning to maximize business goals through the development and deployment of all products and services. You will define software solutions vision for the organization, establish development standards and methodologies, and coordinate architecture and plans across multiple product lines. Collaborating closely with business and customer segments, you will translate market requirements into technology roadmap plans and manage prioritization of strategic objectives for multiple teams and products. To excel in this role, you must have at least 10 years of leadership experience in software development, including planning, building, launching, and supporting complex software products commercially. Proficiency in the Microsoft development stack, Agile development processes, and experience with delivering client-facing products using Cloud services like Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform is essential. Strong communication skills, budget management experience, and customer-centric product design expertise are also required.
