Job Description

As the Head of Service & Operations (BCP, Compliance and Risk) at our company, your role is crucial in ensuring that our infrastructure meets business continuity and regulatory requirements, while maintaining a high level of security. You will collaborate with various Service and Operations leaders, Security teams, and other Technology teams to achieve success in this role. Additionally, this position offers opportunities for thought leadership and contribution across the wider Tech organization, positioning you for potential growth within the company. Your key responsibilities will include: - **Business Continuity**: - Strategizing and executing business continuity exercises for Technology - Improving the resiliency of our infrastructure and business systems - Planning for total loss scenarios involving infrastructure components - **Security Controls**: - Ensuring end-to-end compliance with security controls and audit requirements - Front-ending assessments and audits - Working with infrastructure teams to maintain compliance and provide necessary evidence - Regularly patching infrastructure components and managing vulnerabilities - **Risk Management**: - Constantly managing infrastructure risks such as obsolescence and single points of failure - Collaborating with broader infrastructure teams - Communicating with the service assurance team to prioritize risk-related deliverables In addition to the responsibilities outlined above, you will focus on measuring and improving compliance continuously, with a strong emphasis on stability aligned with Tesco priorities and driven by value. You will need the following qualifications and skills: - Ability to define a Service Strategy for compliance-related activities and communicate it effectively to stakeholders at all levels - Strong Service Management leadership experience in a global, distributed environment - Proven track record in defining and driving BCP and compliance in a Service & Operations environment - Deep knowledge in ITIL or Lean Six Sigma in an Agile/DevOps environment, with Design Thinking skills being desirable - Proficiency in using Data Science and Analytics for Service Management - Experience in driving Automation using classical and AI-based approaches - Capability to build and manage a multinational team - Excellent communication and influencing skills - Broad technical knowledge in platforms and systems related to Service Management in large-scale, international environments - Infrastructure security certification would be desirable Your expertise and leadership in ensuring business continuity, compliance with security controls, and effective risk management will play a vital role in maintaining the security and efficiency of our infrastructure.,
