Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, business leaders, and external vendors to drive the product vision to reality.
• Lead architecture and technology decisions in collaboration with other senior technical leaders and architects.
• Develop and maintain technology roadmaps and participate in long-term architectural planning.
• Foster strong collaboration between product, design, architecture, and engineering teams.
• Own planning processes, including breaking down work, effort estimation, and release scheduling.
• Oversee engineering capacity planning and build teams equipped to deliver through robust training and development strategies.
• Bring a forward-thinking approach to the role, introducing innovative market trends and emerging technologies.

Product Strategy

• Support the development of a clear product strategy and roadmap by assessing feature requirements, technical feasibility, development effort, and setting appropriate go-to-market timelines.
• Align product initiatives with company goals to drive business impact.

People & Delivery Management

• Track project milestones and communicate status updates across leadership levels.
• Set clear objectives and performance metrics for engineering teams.
• Actively remove roadblocks to team progress and foster a high-performance culture.
• Provide mentorship and career guidance across all roles and experience levels within the team.
• Organize and lead Agile ceremonies, including daily scrums and sprint planning.
• Promote continuous improvement and engineering excellence across teams.
• Drive recruitment efforts and refine hiring practices to attract top-tier talent.

Skills & Technical Expertise

• Proven experience in leading software engineering teams in fast-paced, Agile environments.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of:

• Django

  and

  Python

• React

  and modern frontend frameworks

• AWS

  and cloud-native application development

• PostgreSQL

  and relational database management

• REST API

  design and development
• Familiarity with software design principles and scalable architectural patterns
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in software development, with at least 10 years in leadership roles.
• At least 10 years of experience in product management, particularly with B2C applications.
• Track record of building and scaling enterprise-level web and mobile products.
• Strong understanding of UI/UX principles and user-centered design.
• Experience in startup environments and scaling digital platforms from 0 to 1.
• Exposure to end-to-end digital ecosystem development including front-end applications (web, mobile apps, PWA) and analytics.
