Role Description

Avadh Rail Infra Ltd. is seeking a Head of Product Development - Rubber to Metal (Railways) to lead our product innovation and development initiatives. In this full-time, on-site role based in Haridwar, the candidate will be responsible for overseeing research and development activities, managing the design and production of rubber-to-metal components, performing market research, and ensuring products align with industry standards and customer requirements. The role also involves liaising with cross-functional teams, establishing relationships with clients, collaborating with global partners, and driving team performance to achieve organizational goals.

We’re Hiring | Product Development Head – Rubber to Metal (Railways)

We are looking for an experienced Product Development Head (Manager/Sr. Manager/AGM) with strong expertise in Rubber to Metal Bonded Components Railways to lead NPD, innovation, and RDSO-compliant product development at our Haridwar Unit-2.

🔹 Lead end-to-end new product development for RTM bonded railway components

🔹 Own mechanical design, development, and execution of bonded products

🔹 Drive product strategy aligned with railway standards and future requirements

🔹 Work closely with R&D, Quality, and Manufacturing for prototyping, testing, and validation

Qualifications

• Strong Research and Development (R&D) expertise, with experience in product innovation and component design
• Proven analytical skills with the ability to interpret market trends and data
• Experience in conducting market research to identify customer needs and industry requirements
• Ability to effectively manage and lead teams to achieve performance goals and develop high-quality products
• Experience in managing sales and client relationships in a technical or manufacturing environment
• Engineering degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or related field is preferred
• Knowledge of the railways industry, particularly in rolling stock and track components, is an added advantage
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
