**Role Overview:** As the Head of Marketing at Avantor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and directing the entire marketing function. Your responsibilities will include driving strategic initiatives, fostering a high-performance culture within the marketing team, and focusing on the India market while also supporting Middle East & Africa markets. You will be an integral part of the India leadership team, reporting to the Managing Director, India. **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with Avantor's business goals. - Lead the creation and implementation of innovative marketing plans to enhance brand awareness, customer acquisition, and revenue growth. - Supervise and mentor a team of product managers, providing guidance and professional development opportunities. - Oversee all field marketing activities, including sales support, customer visits, training, pricing, digital marketing, and content creation. - Analyze market trends, conduct research, and generate customer insights to develop effective marketing strategies. - Manage the marketing budget and establish metrics to measure campaign effectiveness. - Maintain and enhance Avantor's brand identity across all channels. - Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, representing Avantor at industry events and conferences. **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelor's degree in Science, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) preferred. - Minimum 15 years of experience with at least 5 years in a functional leadership role in marketing. - Experience in Life Science, Healthcare, Pharmaceutical, or related industries is a plus. - Strong strategic thinking, analytical skills, and ability to lead and manage a diverse team. - Expertise in traditional and digital marketing aspects, including SEO, SEM, social media, etc. - Excellent communication, presentation, and project management skills. - Creative mindset with a passion for industry trends and best practices. **About the Company:** Avantor is a global team of 14,000+ associates dedicated to advancing life-changing science.
