Head of Digital

As the Head of App Engineering Practice at Birlasoft Ltd., you will play a pivotal role in driving innovation, leading the development and delivery of cutting-edge solutions, and aligning technology strategies with business objectives. Your visionary and strategic leadership will be crucial in transforming how clients leverage technology to enhance their digital presence, optimize operations, and achieve business outcomes. You will oversee a multidisciplinary practice encompassing Digital Experience, Cloud & App Engineering, Digital Manufacturing, and Generative AI, with a focus on fostering innovation, team management, client engagement, practice development, technology oversight, cross-functional collaboration, financial management, and business development. Your responsibilities will include defining the overall vision, strategy, and roadmap for the App Engineering Practice, aligning strategies with broader business objectives, fostering a culture of innovation, leading a diverse team of professionals, partnering with clients to provide strategic guidance on digital transformation, establishing best practices and frameworks, providing guidance on modern technologies, collaborating with other practice heads and business units, overseeing financial management, supporting sales and business development activities, and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality solutions that exceed client expectations. To excel in this role, you should possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, along with at least 20 years of experience in application engineering, digital transformation, or a related field, including 5 years in a senior leadership role. You should have in-depth knowledge and experience in Digital Experience platforms, Cloud & App Engineering, Digital Manufacturing, and Generative AI, strong leadership skills, technical proficiency in modern application development and digital technologies, business acumen, excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, problem-solving abilities, and decision-making skills. Possessing certifications in relevant technologies and experience with Agile and DevOps practices would be advantageous.
