This role is for one of the Weekday's clients Min Experience: 12 years Location: Chennai , Pune JobType: full-time We are looking for a dynamic and visionaryHead of Designto lead our design studio and oversee the successful delivery of interior design projects, primarily within the corporate and workplace design segment. This leadership role demands a perfect blend of design excellence, strategic thinking, team management, and client engagement. Requirements Key Responsibilities: Collaborate closely with the Business Head, senior designers, and project managers to ensure timely and high-quality studio deliverables. Lead the design development of corporate interior projects, from concept through execution. Represent the design team in client-facing scenarios, including pitches and design presentations. Partner with the business development and client solutions teams to manage key client projects and support business growth. Play an active role in new business pitches and strategic presentations to potential clients. Mentor and guide the design team, fostering a culture of creativity, performance, and professional development. Contribute to the development and execution of training programs within the design function. Ensure high standards of design delivery, innovation, and team performance. What We're Looking For: A degree or diploma inInterior Design or Architecture, with proven experience leading design teams or studios. Strong background incorporate interiors/workplace design, from concept to execution. Experience in managing client relationships, delivering pitches, and handling design presentations. A strong design sensibility coupled with solid technical knowledge. Exceptional communication, leadership, and presentation skills. Proficiency in design tools such asAutoCAD, SketchUp, and Photoshop. A proactive, positive, and collaborative approach with the ability to handle multiple projects and timelines.
